Transmission line

Overhead transmission line is designed in the frame of complex Nova – Eco LLC project of wind power plant construction with total capacity of 300 MW, Chernomorskaya wind power plant site of Nova-Eco Company with generating capacity of 200 MW.
Power distribution scheme defines contribution of the wind power plant WPP-300 for covering of increasing power capacity and power consumption deficit of the Crimean power network.

Power distribution system contains:

1. Substation WPP 33/110/330 kV.
2. Transmission line 330 kV WPP s/s – Ostrovskaya s/s.
3. Reconstruction of the Ostrovskaya substation in the         context of TL 330 kV connection to the system.
4. Automated process control system of the power             distribution system.

Prerequisite for realization of the transmission line 330 kV project was planning of the Chernomorskaya wind power plant site of Nova-Eco Company with generating 200 MW,continuous electrical energy deficit in Crimea and absence of any possibility for transmission of such quantity of the electrical energy.

Realization of this project will also solve some significant regional problems:

• Ensure increase in efficiency of power transmission from wind power plant of Nova-Eco LLC and higher level of power supply of Crimean peninsula through the Transmission Line system;

• Decrease in output of fuel energy sources since production of clean electrical energy by wind power plant of Nova-Eco LLC will facilitate reduction in emissions of harmful gases due to the lower coal and natural gas consumption.
