Nova-Eco carried out an extensive program for Public consultation and disclosure both in Chernomorskoye and Lenino regions, as well as provided for extensive media coverage of development process in local (regional) and Crimean press, radio and TV in order to promote the WPP-300, explain the development process and collect opinions of private individuals, organizations and and authorities in connection with the foreseen construction of Ukraine’s largest WPP.
PCDP Implementation:
- Preparatory stage (scoping) – consultation with local representatives on both communication plans (tools, dates and resources) and on specific issues that need to be incorporated into the studies.
- Informative stage – dissemination of the information and ensuring the feedback and grievance mechanism. First contacts with all groups of stakeholders
- Public meeting – direct communication with all the stakeholders (especially Local Communities and authorities)
- Finalization stage – final PCDP report where all opinions are considered
In case the developer and stakeholders disagree, PCDP must ensure that disagreements are recorded, considered fairly and the stakeholders are compensated.
