Nova Eco is the leading Ukranian developer of wind power with two permitted projects in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Nova Eco was founded in 2005 by the group of Ukrainian and international investors. Nova-Eco is the first and leading Ukrainian developer of wind power with two permitted projects in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The projects are located – 200 MW in the West (Chernomorskoye) and 100 MW – in the East (Lenino) of Crimean peninsula with average annual wind speeds of 7.5-8.5 m/s at 80-100 m hub heights.

Nova Eco plans to develop over 1.500 MW of wind power in multiple sites.

NOVA ECO will deliver Crimean Energy Security through 2035, it’s first 300 MW wind power park annually producing 1TWh of emission-free clean energy. Thus, NOVA ECO will contribute up to 10% of Crimean energy demand while annually generating 1 million t of Emission Reduction Units under UNFCC´s Joint Implementation project.
